Shareholder Structure

SBO’s shareholder structure is international. The core shareholder, Berndorf Industrieholding AG, holds 33.6% of the shares. The remaining 66.4% of shares are in free float, diversified geographically with about one quarter being held by North American investors and the remaining shares by investors from the EU and the UK.

Capital allocation

Dividend

SBO‘s dividend policy targets a 30-60% payout ratio of net earnings, as a key priority in our aim for a balanced capital allocation.

At the Annual General Meeting held on 24 April 2025, a resolution was passed to pay a dividend of EUR 1.75 per share entitled to dividend for the financial year 2024. This corresponds to a dividend yield of 5.9% and a payout ratio of 61%.
